The Business:
The business has been a trusted provider in the community for over 25 years and has grown organically over the period. As a result, they are professional and offer a high-quality service delivery.
The Director was the Registered Manager, however recently promoted their second-in-command and now operate on a job share basis (at least as far as their CQC registration is concerned). In reality the new Registered Manager runs the day-to-day operations whilst the Director covers the financial functions and general oversight.
The agency has a solid reputation for quality and an extremely loyal workforce – 3 staff have worked with in the agency for over 25 years. They are a Real Living Wage employer and always seek to meet all legal and ethical responsibilities. They are contracted with the local authority and have been for many years, under a wide variety of contracts, currently they operate as a Tier 2 provider.
The agency offers a wide range of services to Older People and Working-age Adults with a great deal of dementia work. Technically they can be asked to support clients with Learning Difficulties as per their contract, however that is not an area in which they are experienced. It is certainly a potential growth area for the business along with greater focus on the private market with additional marketing and training.

The agency is currently servicing c.50 clients per week with c.620 per week, of which 85% of hours that comes from the local authority and the remaining 15% Private clients.
