Robin Boxall-Hunt Managing Director / Broker
Robin has built a strong network of Corporate Buyers and other professional services across the UK and Internationally to aid his clients in achieving their exit strategy.
Having qualified for his Business & Finance BA Hon’s, Robin went on to run the Sales division for a National PLC. Joining Axis in 2000 initially as a broker, Robin’s is now the Managing Director within the business and oversees all operations including the financial function.
Having specialised in the sale of businesses within the Healthcare sector, Robin then extended the scope of operations to successfully cover many differing spectrums of SME industries.
Robin has successfully negotiated deals on behalf of clients with Private Equity firms, International Investors, National Healthcare Providers through to growing Regional Purchasers and has extensive experience of working alongside major corporate finance firms such as Mazars, Grant Thornton & PWC. Robin has an in-the depth knowledge of the financials and legalities encompassed within a sale process. This knowledge, combined with a firm grasp and experience in the complex stages involved in the sale of a business has enabled him to successfully negotiate 100’s of transactions with a multitude of deals structures.
Shaun Russell Commercial Director / Broker
Shaun joined the management team in 2013 heading up the Brokering arm of the business. With a strong commercial background of business expansion incorporating M&A activity, Shaun has led and worked on many transactions within the UK and Europe, on both the buy and sell side, with a collective value well in excess of £1 Billion.
Shaun previously held several Board / Executive positions in Financial Services and Healthcare businesses in several countries throughout Europe and was specifically responsible for developing the commercial and operational aspects of the businesses through organic growth as well as merger and acquisitions.
This experience allows Shaun to bring our clients a unique and progressive view on many aspects of their business as well as an excellent understanding of all aspects of the sale process combined with proven negotiation skills.
John Twitchett Broker
John brings to Axis his extensive experience in the Property Sales & Lettings Industry spanning 10 years. The skills he built in this sector add extra support to our business sales process particularly when property is included within the transaction.
Since joining Axis, John has built a track record and excellent reputation in sales, marketing, valuing and negotiating sales, thus delivering successful outcomes for the clients he manages sales for. John works closely with clients offering professional advice on multiple transactions in numerous service sectors especially in Recruitment, Cleaning and Healthcare. A hard working focused and self-motivated individual, John has developed into a highly competent Broker with a wide range of skills including negotiation, time management and offering professional and knowledgeable advice to clients throughout the whole sales process.
Richard Haden-Scott Head of Valuations / Business Valuer
Richard oversees the Valuation Department, assisted by his colleagues, and has an in-depth understanding of accounts and financial analysis. With over 35 years’ experience of owning and running his own Company, Richard fully understands the implications for our clients regarding maintaining confidentiality, and the requirement for an honest and realistic valuation.
Richard also has extensive and wide ranging management consultancy experience supporting clients in the UK and EMEA region.
Richard is regularly requested by Accountants and Solicitors to provide independent valuations for companies ranging from Sole Traders, LLP’s, and Limited Companies through to PLC’s, and provided valuations that have been used in the legal courts for probate, marriage/divorce and MBO’s.
Teresa Lyell Marketing & Lead Generation
With over 30 year’s of clerical experience developed whilst working for various Government departments, Teresa brings a high level of clerical competence ensuring that the effective processes, which have been built up over time, are followed diligently throughout business operations.
Teresa also manages initial enquiries from buyers including initial vetting to ensure that sufficient funding is in place and ensures that all information is correctly recorded and followed up when required.
She is also responsible for the implementation of marketing and social media campaigns in conjunction with the rest of the team.
