The business started nearly 10 years ago, provides care to children, young people, and adults up to 65 years of age who have complex, life limiting and degenerative conditions.
The whole service is about providing and managing the clinical and personal support needs of the SU’s, enabling them to live a fulfilled life in their own home and be involved fully in family life and their local community.
The business operates an ongoing audit programme for all policies and procedures against several quality indicators in line with CQC standards, using data collection methods including quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
The business provides 24/7 service to the SU’s and runs an on-call service, ensuring there is always someone to call on for advice and to deal with any issues.
All SU’s have their own designated registered nurse to oversee the care being provided. Their role is to work with the SU to design a person-centered package of care that meets the SU’s specific needs and individual circumstance. As well as manage the training and on-going supervision of the non-nursing team who deliver the ongoing day to day care.
