Key Members
Adam Croft – Office Manager / Senior Broker
Adam has been with Axis for 7 years, formerly working with the Armed Forces. With qualifications in management, Adam oversees the sale of all Companies currently instructed by Axis. Specialising in the sale of businesses within the Recruitment and Healthcare sector, Adam has been involved in negotiations with Companies located in Australia, America and mainland Europe, and was recently personally requested by Deloitte & Touche LLP to locate a suitable Purchaser for a Company with a £40million Turnover.
Kate Baines – Broker
Kate joined Axis in 2006 and now specialises in the sale of Healthcare Companies, in particular Domiciliary Care and Residential Homes. With a background of working for a corporate FTSE 100 firm in London, Kate has successfully negotiated deals on behalf of clients with International Investment Consortiums, National Healthcare Providers through to growing Regional Purchasers. With experience of working alongside major firms such as Hammonds, Birkett Long and Grant Thornton, Kate has an in depth knowledge of the legalities encompassed within a sale, and is assisted by her colleagues Matthew Bollans and Dawn Pedley.
Ross Bennett – Broker
Ross joined Axis in 2009 and oversees the sale of Companies operating within a range of sectors including Cleaning, Lettings, Recruitment and Healthcare. Prior to working at Axis, Ross was a student at the University of East Anglia in which he obtained his BA (Hons) in Business Management. Ross has extensive experience in sales and marketing during this period working within the Healthcare and Retail sectors as a Sales Manager and Branch Manager respectively.
Ian Charlesworth – Senior Valuer
Ian oversees the Valuation Department, assisted by his colleague Neville Herbert and has an in-depth understanding of accounts and financial spreadsheets. Ian fully understands the implications for our clients regarding maintaining confidentiality, and the requirement for an honest and realistic valuation. Ian is frequently requested by Accountants and Solicitors to provide independent valuations for Companies ranging from Sole Traders, LLP’s, and Limited Companies through to PLC’s, and provides valuations that are used in the legal courts for probate, marriage/divorce and MBO’s.
